Stations Placed Around Your Home
Our licensed technicians install bait stations around the perimeter of your home, typically spaced 10 to 20 feet apart. Each station holds a slow-acting bait that termites feed on.
Placement matters. In Leura and the Blue Mountains, we pay close attention to garden beds, retaining walls and bushland edges, where termites are most likely to move through.
Termites Carry the Bait to the Colony
When worker termites find a station, they feed on the bait and take it back to the nest. Because the active ingredient works slowly, workers share it with other colony members, which can eventually reach the queen.
This targets the colony itself, rather than just the termites that happen to be near your home.
Regular Checks Confirm Feeding
We monitor the stations on a schedule to see whether termites are feeding and to keep the system working properly. Results depend on termite activity and correct station placement, which is why a free termite inspection comes first, since baiting doesn’t suit every infestation.
