Norwest is overwhelmingly commercial: office towers, medical suites, showrooms and ground-floor food tenancies, with a lot of newer residential apartments now mixed in. Cockroach problems here look different to a standalone house, and the quote reflects that, because the work is usually about shared infrastructure rather than one room.
The recurring sources we find are loading docks, shared bin rooms, basement carparks and the grease and waste lines behind food tenancies. In a multi-tenancy building, those are connected spaces. Treating a single suite while the bin room and riser stay untreated tends to buy a few weeks, not a fix. Underground carparks are also warm and sheltered year-round, so there is no seasonal drop-off the way there is in a suburban backyard.
When we quote a Norwest site we want to know the building type, how many tenancies are involved, whether there is a food premises in the building, and whether you control the waste area or the strata does. That is what determines whether this is a one-off treatment or a program, and we would rather tell you that upfront than quote low and under-deliver.
